The Canon F1, 'New F1', you can rest assured that this thing is a tank, I'd say even better built than the F3. Released in 1981 the camera is mainly battery operated but you can use this thing completely mechanically at 125th and above which is cool.

The camera itself is in great condition with brassing mainly to the corners and to the top of the prism and baseplate. The camera fires well at all speeds, meter works correctly and responds to light well and also changes when either the ASA or exposure comp dial are used. The cameras waist level finder is in good condition and so is the focusing screen, both are clean and mark free. The film bay is clean and the shutter is good, the wind on is smooth and the frame counter is working correctly, the prism has a mechanical curtain which stops stray light during long exposures, this is working correctly too. 

The lens is the standard 50mm f1.8 which is clean with smooth focus, working apertures and clean and clear glass free from haze, fungus and scratches.

Cameras are all rated on condition by our experienced team. We test rigorously before stocking items and give each product a fair rating on aesthetic and working condition.
Our Guarantee

The majority of our cameras come with a 6 month repair warranty unless individually stated. The exception to this is our film and digital compact cameras which come with a 1 month warranty. This does not cover accidental damage.

Free UK Shipping over £100

Spend over £100 with us and get your order shipped for free. We use Royal Mail and DHL as our shipping providers.

We do ship internationally- prices are worked out on checkout on the website.

Returns

If you change your mind or aren't feeling the camera/lens/equipment we can refund your order up to 14 days after purchase on items ordered online only.

Beyond this we offer a 30 day refund period, whereby if your camera is faulty or not working up to 30 days after purchase, we will offer a refund or exchange. This does not cover accidental damage.
VAT and Taxes

The vast majority of our cameras do not qualify for reclaimable VAT in the UK.

For orders shipped internationally, any local taxes will be added when clearing clearing customs locally.

The gift that keeps on giving (otherwise known as Brexit) means that any orders from within the EU will be subject to local VAT.
